*Exclusive* Dr. Bernice A King at the Black Women In Media Awards

Today we are celerating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. it was an honor to sit down with his daughter, Dr. Bernice A King at the 6th Annual Black Women in Media Awards.

During our conversation I asked her what her hope were for our community and the future of this nation. She replied with “ I hope we realize that we have been chosen as a race to raise the consciousness of this nation. In many respects to save the soul of America and that we tap into the energy and the spirit of those who came before us. They alway knew they had a responsibility to help elevate this nation”

A moment in my career I’ll never forget! Lets take the time to acknowledge the strenght and power we have as a community and then continue to push forward this movement. The last shall be first and the first last….
