Meet Julian Maissel
Julian Maissel is an FAA-certified drone pilot from Long Island, New York, whose talent goes beyond skilled flying. With a cinematic eye and deep expertise in camera operations, Julian brings stories to life from a unique aerial perspective. Recently, he showcased his abilities by capturing breathtaking footage of Grenada’s vibrant Spicemas Carnival for Chattin’ with D.
In addition to his aerial cinematography, Julian is an accomplished music producer and keyboardist, known in the music world by his stage name, Houlian Houdini. Since 2021, he has been the main collaborator of fellow Chattin’ with D team member Devin Harris, co-producing nearly all of Harris's music. Julian’s musical journey began at the age of five on the piano, and his production skills took off during college, especially throughout the pandemic when he devoted himself to refining his craft.
